Accident 10 km from Sangam

The distance from the Sangam is about 10 kilometers from the Phaphamau area where the accident occurred. Devotees from Lucknow, Rae Bareli, Ayodhya, Amethi, Sultanpur and Pratapgarh come and go through this route. A two -lane bridge has been built on the Ganges river in Phaphamau. Keeping in mind the Mahakumbh, the administration has constructed the Pipa bridge next to the two -lane bridge. A wooden bridge has been built on many heavy peeps on the river. The wooden bridge on the barrel broke due to excessive weight. Apart from this, a steel bridge has also been built, which will make it easier for the devotees to move.

Huge increase in crowds

The crowd is increasing in Mahakumbh since the day of Mauni Amavasya. At present there is such a crowd in Mahakumbh that there is a huge flood of devotees from Prayagraj Nagar area to Sangam area. Wherever you look, only devotees will meet. All these are camping in the Sangam area for Basant Panchami bath. Along with this, the process of coming to other devotees is also going on.

The situation is currently under control.

At present, the police and the fire brigade have claimed that the bridge has been repaired after the accident in Phaphamau. All devotees are safe. There was no damage of any kind. However, in the viral video, a person can clearly be heard saying that many people have been buried. There is no police or administrative staff here.
