According to the legend, the wife of a poor Brahmin suffered from poverty and went to the sage Shadilya and said, “O Maharishi, I am very sad. Please tell me some way to reduce my grief.” Both my sons are in your care. My elder son’s name is Dharma, he is a prince, and the younger son’s name is Suchaivrat. Hearing that we are poor, only you can save us, the sage asked us to fast Shani Pradosh. All three creatures started following Pradosh fast. After some time Pradosh fast came and then the three resolved to fast. When the younger son went to bathe in the Shuchaivrat Sarovar, he found a golden urn full of money there. He came home with it. His mother happily said that he had received this money. Seeing the wealth of wealth, Mother described the glory of Shiva.
He called the prince to him and said, “I have received this money by the grace of Shiva.” Therefore, both of you children should share it as offerings. Hearing the words of her mother, Parvati ji meditated on Shiva and said, “Dear! This wealth is only your son’s mother, I am not a character of it.” Whenever Shiva and Parvati give me this, I will take it. Saying this, he became absorbed in devotion. One day the idea of state tour came in the minds of both brothers. There he saw many Gandharva girls playing. Seeing them, Suchivrat said, “Brother, we cannot go beyond this,” and sat at the same place saying. But the prince went between them alone. There was a woman who was very beautiful and fascinated to see the prince. She went to the prince and said, “My friends, there is another forest near this forest. Go there and see that there are many types of flowers blooming there.” It is a very pleasant time, amazed with its beauty, mother, I am sitting here. Hearing this, all the friends walked towards another forest. She was watching the prince sitting alone. Here the prince also looked at him with lust. The girl asked, “Where do you live?” how did you get here? Which king are you son? What is the name? The prince said, “I am the son of the king of Vidarbha.” You introduce yourself. The woman said, “I am the daughter of Gandharva named Vrudravik.” My name is Anshumati. I know what is in your heart. You are fascinated by me The Creator has brought us together. The girl put a garland of beads around the prince’s neck.
The prince accepted the defeat and said, “O dear, I have accepted the gift of your love.” But I am poor. Hearing the prince’s words, Gandharva daughter said, “I will do the same as you said, now you go home.” Saying this, the girl went to her friends. Rajkumar went home and told Shuchaivrat to the whole incident.
On the third day, Rajkumar went to the forest with Suchaivrat. Gandharva Virgo brought her friends there. Seeing the prince of these two, he said, ‘I went to Kailash.’ There Shankarji told me that there is a prince named Dharmagupta who is currently poor and has no kingdom. I am a devotee. Hey Gandharva Raj, please help him. With the orders of Lord Shiva, I have brought this girl to you. You do this, I will help you and put you on the throne. Thus the king duly married his daughter. The prince was very happy to find special wealth and beautiful daughter. After some time by the grace of God, he started to enjoy the kingdom, suppressing his enemies.
