Whenever the Mahabharata war is mentioned, the name of a great warrior is definitely taken and that was Abhimanyu. The bravery with which he entered the forget and fought the war is still an example for the people that one should not give up under any circumstances in life. Abhimanyu was the son of Arjuna and Subhadra. But in fact he was the rebirth of Varshaas, son of Chandradev. Lord Vishnu wanted the virtue to be born on earth and play an important role in the Mahabharata war. Chandra Dev could not stay away from his son for longer, so he sent him to Earth for only 16 years, that is, Abhimanyu had to complete his work for only 16 years.

When Subhadra was pregnant, Arjuna was telling him about breaking Chakravyuh in war. Abhimanyu heard this in his mother’s womb. But unfortunately, as soon as Arjuna was going to tell him the way out of the Chakravyuh, Subhadra fell asleep. The result was that Abhimanyu only came to know the art of entering the Chakravyuh, but did not know how to get out of it.

Battle field

Dronacharya made a strategy on the thirteenth day of the Mahabharata war. He sent Arjuna and Krishna to the distant part of the battlefield. On the other hand, he made a labyrinth. At that time something had to be done, so the Pandavas decided to send Abhimanyu to the Chakravyuh. Abhimanyu brilliantly entered by breaking structures like Makarvyuh, Kurmavyuh and Sarpavyuh. But Jayadratha stopped the way from behind, so that the Pandavas could not chase Abhimanyu. Abhimanyu crossed the six gates of the labyrinth but got stuck at the seventh gate.

Abhimanyu power

Abhimanyu alone caused havoc in the Kaurava army. He defeated Dronacharya, Kripacharya, Ashwatthama, Duryodhana, Surgery, Dushasan, Bhurishrava and many other warriors. He killed warriors like Duryodhana’s son Lakshmana, Rukmaratha, son of Shalya and Matrukavat, son of Kritavarma.

Abhimanyu murdered

On the advice of Dronacharya, Karna broke Abhimanyu’s bow and arrow. Then he was attacked from behind. His charioteer was killed, the chariot was destroyed, and the army was destroyed. Abhimanyu fought only by using his sword and a broken chariot wheel as a shield. But eventually all the Kaurava warriors together attacked the 16 -year -old boy and brutally killed him.

What happened after Abhimanyu’s death?

Arjuna was shocked by Abhimanyu’s death. Now he realized that this war was not only for religion, but also to avenge his son’s sacrifice. Now Arjuna decided to win the war. The next day, he killed Jayadratha with his divine arrow. To avenge Abhimanyu’s murder, the Pandavas killed every warrior standing against him.

Abhimanyu son Parikshit

At that time Abhimanyu’s wife Uttara was pregnant. At the end of the war, when Ashwatthama left Brahmastra to take revenge, Lord Krishna protected Uttara and his unborn child. Abhimanyu’s son Parikshit was born dead, but Lord Krishna gave him life.
