AI powered security systems: Approximately 2,750 close-circuit cameras, including 250 AI-enabled ones, monitor the 4,000-acre Mela ground, providing real-time crowd density insights to the Integrated Control and Command Center.
International diplomatic presence:

Diplomats from 77 countries attended the Maha Kumbh Mela in 2025, including Russia, Ukraine, Japan, the United States, Germany, and more. The diplomats took a dip in the holy Sangam and visited cultural sites.

Cleanliness and sustainability: The Maha Kumbh Mela 2025 in Prayagraj, promised to focus on cleanliness and sustainability through a variety of initiatives, including waste management, plastic-free zones, and renewable energy.
