Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: MAGIC To Celebrate National Startup Day & Innovation Week With Series Of Events | Sourced
The Marathwada Accelerator for Growth and Incubation Council (MAGIC) will celebrate National Startup Day and Innovation Week with a series of events from January 10 and 16.
The planned initiatives include MAGIC’s LearnNext workshops, an interview series, training sessions, guidance programmes for engineering students, the launch of a scheme under the Ministry of Electronics, a Hero for Startups Roadshow, discussions on entrepreneurship, and roundtable conferences.
MAGIC director Ritesh Mishra noted that India has emerged as one of the global hubs for startups, thanks to favourable government policies, access to funding and mentorship facilities.
National Startup Day will be celebrated on January 16, with activities conducted across Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar and various cities in the Marathwada region, targeting different educational institutions.
The objective of Startup India Innovation Week 2025 is to boost entrepreneurship and innovation across India through the active participation of stakeholders in the startup ecosystem.
Mishra highlighted that MAGIC is one of the select few incubators chosen to participate in this initiative and has been successfully implementing it from the past two years.
The series of events will include ‘HeadOnn’ Workshop: Entrepreneurship and Innovation as Career Opportunities, Creativity and Innovation in New Projects, Launch of the Ministry of Electronics’ GENESIS Initiative – Call for Applications, Hero for Startups Roadshow, Interview Series, LearnNext: Basics of Legal Aspects for Startups and panel discussion on entrepreneurship.
