Madhya Pradesh’s Parvati-Kali Sindh-Chambal River Link Project To Start Soon | FP Photo

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The work on Parvati-Kali Sindh-Chambal river link project may begin soon. MP Chief Minister Mohan Yadav and his Rajasthan counterpart Bhajanlal Sharma held a meeting in the presence of Union Jal Shakti Minister CR Patil in Delhi on Thursday.

The MP government requested the Centre to make some changes in the draft. The changes, which the state sought in the draft, were carried out. Afterwards, it was sent back to the Union Government. Both Sharma and Yadav discussed the issues related to the project.

Besides Parvati, other rivers were included in the amended draft. The project will be inaugurated at an event to be held in Rajasthan. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate it.

Project from Karmabhoomi to Janmabhoomi figure in talks Chief Minister Mohan Yadav and his Rajasthan counterpart Bhajanlal Sharma discussed the project from Karmabhoomi to Janmabhooki in the presence of Jal Shakti Minister CR Patil.

According to the project, those who are from other states and doing business in Gujarat are installing bores in their native states by means of their own resources. Such a work is going on in Satna district of Madhya Pradesh.

The target is to install 15,000 bores in the state. To carry out the work, the collectors of all the districts have been made nodal officers. Patil advised the chief ministers to remove the hurdles from the way. The work will be done in MP, Rajasthan and Bihar under the project.
