Madhya Pradesh To Go Ahead Of Punjab, Haryana In Crop Output: CM Mohan Yadav

Lateri (Madhya Pradesh): Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has said MP will soon be ahead of Punjab and Haryana in terms of growing crops. The Ken-Betwa River Linking Project and Parvati-Kali-Singh River Linking Project will not only help the farmers of the Bundelkhand region but also the farmers of different parts of the state, Yadav said.

The country is progressing by leaps and bounds under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and is gradually becoming one of the best countries in the world, he said. He made the statement at the foundation-laying ceremony of welfare projects worth Rs 132 crore in Lateri assembly constituency in Vidisha on Saturday.

Yadav said that the state government was working for the welfare of all sections of the society and paying special attention to women and youths. He inaugurated and laid the foundation of projects worth and addressed a public meeting. Yadav laid the foundation of projects worth Rs 80.16 crore and laid the foundation of projects worth Rs 51.90 lakh.

He also distributed loans under various schemes of the government. A documentary film was screened for freeing 505 hectares of grazing land. MP Lata Wankhede and in-charge minister Lakhan Ji Patel were present in the function held at Talab Mandir ground for the occasion. All the five legislators from Vidisha also took part in the function. 

Those who were present at the function urged the Chief Minister to make Sironj a separate district. Legislator Umakant Sharma put up 40 demands before Yadav who assured that some of the demands would be fulfilled. Yadav laid the foundation development projects worth Rs 131.9751 crore and also inaugurated some of the projects which were finished.

The projects to be set up belong to Nagar Palika Parishad, Janpad Panchayat, Health Department, PMJSY, PWD, Education Department, Rural Engineering Services, Education Department, Revenue Department, Women and Child Development Department. 3 sustain injuries after
