Indore (Madhya Pradesh): The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) announced the results of the State Service Main Examination 2023 on Monday.

A total of 800 candidates have been selected for 229 posts, with 659 passing in the main list and 141 in the provisional list. The selection exceeds the required number of candidates by over three times.

Successful candidates will now proceed to the interview stage, though the exact dates are yet to be finalised.

The commission has begun the interview process, and candidates must submit applications by January 20 without a late fee.

Applications submitted between January 21 and January 27 will incur a Rs 3,000 fee, and those between January 28 and February 3 will require Rs 25,000.

The recruitment covers 229 vacancies across eight departments, including deputy collectors, deputy superintendents of police, and cooperative inspectors.

Candidates had eagerly awaited the results since the main exam in March 2023. The preliminary results were released on January 18, with 6,662 candidates qualifying for the main exam.
