Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The state government is preparing for a major administrative reshuffle in the New Year. The transfer list, containing the names of IAS officers may be issued after January 5.

Transfer list of IPS officers may also be released soon. In these lists, the officers, who have been recently promoted, may get new postings.

In the administrative reshuffle, a new Principal Secretary may be sent to the Chief Minister’s Secretariat. Akash Tripathi, who is on deputation to the Centre, will return to the state and take over as PS. The state government has sent a proposal for it. There may be some more changes in Mantralaya.

A large number of collectors will be shifted. The collectors, who have been in the district for a long time, will be transferred. In some districts, collectors may be transferred on the basis of their performance.

According to reports, the collectors of Khargone, Datia, Guna, Satna, Rewa, Barwani, Tikamgarh, Dhar, Dewas, Agar, Khandwa, Shahdol, Maihar and Alirajpur may be transferred. Chief Electoral Officer Sukhveer Singh may be transferred to some department as PS. Some other officer will be appointed as Chief Electoral Officer.

Additional Chief Secretary Neeraj Mandloi is holding the additional charge of PWD where some officer will be posted. Some officers will be posted as director in the mining department and as commissioner in the Housing Board.

These two departments are functioning under the officers holding additional charge. Secretaries and head of departments will be changed.

Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, Chief Secretary Anurag Jain and Additional Chief Secretary Rajesh Rajora discussed the transfer-related issue. They are likely to hold another discussion after the voter’s list is ready. Then the list of transfer will be released.
