Madhya Pradesh Government To Set Up 3-Acre ‘Ekatma Dham’ At Prayagraj Mahakumbh 2025 |

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The Madhya Pradesh Government will set up a huge pavilion spread over three acres to introduce the devotees visiting Mahakumbh 2025 at Prayagraj to Adi Sankaracharya’s life and works.  

Acharya Shankar Sanskritik Ekta Nyas, a wing of the culture department, will organise an ‘Ekatma Dham Camp’ from January 12 to February 12 at Sector-18, Harishchandra Marg, Mahakumbh Area, Jhunsi, Prayagraj to popularise Advaita Vedanta and the concept of universal unity.

Major activities in the camp include Vedic rituals, Bhashya Parayan, Shastrarth Sabha, Sant Samagam, symposium, Shankar music, yoga and meditation. Cultural events will be organised. Thousands of sants from MP will take part in it. 

An exhibition focused on the life of Acharya Shankar and Ekatma Dham and a stall of books based on Vedanta will also be showcased. A dialogue focused on Advaita Vedant and Meditation will be held. An official from the Nyas said that Adi Shankarachaya is closely associated with Kumbh. 

“It was he who started the tradition of Kumbh in India. Lakhs of Sanyasis of his tradition gathered at the place. Kumbh is a big festival of Sanyasis” the official said.

Besides, the culture department in association with tourism and Anand department will organise various activities at the Kumbh. Director of Vikramaditya Shodhpeeth, Shriram Tiwari said that exhibitions including Vikramaditya and Ayodhya, Krishna, Gai Gopal, 84 Mahadev Devi Ke 108 Swaroop  and Aarsh Bharat will be showcased. Drama on Vikramaditya and  Raja  Bhoj , Shri Krishna , Durgavati and Ahilyabai will be staged. A temporary display of ‘Vedic Clock’ will also be held, he added.
