Speaking at a curtain-raiser event in New Delhi, he highlighted the immense investment potential of Madhya Pradesh across various sectors.

CM Yadav emphasized that the state is rich in natural resources, including abundant water from rivers like Narmada and Tapti, a reliable power supply, and a strong transportation network. The government offers various incentives to industries, making it an attractive destination for businesses.

India’s Growing Economic Strength

The Chief Minister stated that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, India is rapidly moving towards becoming the world’s third-largest economy. He credited investors for playing a crucial role in this progress and stressed the importance of industrial expansion for economic growth.

Investor-Friendly Policies and Startups

CM Yadav assured that Madhya Pradesh has business-friendly policies, especially for startups. He highlighted that land in the state is significantly cheaper than in cities like Delhi and Mumbai. The textile sector, in particular, offers incentives of up to 200%, and Madhya Pradesh is known for producing high-quality cotton, which has been recognized by global brands like Uniqlo.

Changing Perceptions About Industrialists

Mohan Yadav noted that the perception of industrialists has evolved, and the government is actively engaging with them. Regional industry conclaves are being held even in smaller towns to encourage investments.

Representatives from Australia, Mexico, Albania, Zimbabwe, and Slovenia expressed interest in various sectors like agriculture, urban planning, and tourism. Developed nations like the UK, Germany, and Japan are also partner countries for GIS 2025.

One-on-One Meetings with Top Industrialists

During the event, Dr. Yadav met with leading business figures, including executives from PepsiCo India, JK Cement, EaseMyTrip, Greenko Group, and others. These discussions focused on investment opportunities in the state.

Sector-Focused Roundtable Meetings

Two interactive sessions were held at the event. The first focused on telecom investments, with companies like Reliance Jio, Ericsson, and Nokia discussing opportunities in 5G and digital infrastructure. The second session engaged diplomats, highlighting Madhya Pradesh’s strong industrial potential and investment-friendly policies.

Prime Minister Modi to Inaugurate GIS-2025

The Global Investors Summit will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and is expected to attract over 20,000 investors and business leaders. The summit will include discussions on urban development, IT, renewable energy, and tourism. Additionally, a special session will be held to support startups and small businesses.

Madhya Pradesh: A Hub for Industrial Growth

Officials at the event reiterated that Madhya Pradesh is fast emerging as a prime investment destination. The state government is committed to ensuring transparent policies, ease of doing business, and 24/7 support for investors.
