Sehore (Madhya Pradesh): Chief minister Mohan Yadav has said that the Nath sect has explained the real meaning of yoga to the world. The Nath sect has made a major contribution to the spread of yoga in the world under the guidance of Adi Guru Gorakhnath, he said.
Yadav was speaking at a function, Sant Samaroh, in Jarrapur village in Budhni tehsil on Sunday. He said easiest medium to know God was yoga. Guru Gorakhnath, with his ability and skills, used to adapt to all the difficulties and adversity that came in his life.
Guru Gorakhnath has taught the world the art of self-realisation before death, Yadav said. On the demand of saints, the chief minister announced the construction of a ghat along banks of Narmada in Budhni. He said that the government was always ready to serve saints and according to their requirement, land would be made available for the ashram in Ujjain too.
Guru Parshvanath, Yogi Balaknath, and Rajya Sabha member Bal Yogi Umesh Nath also addressed the gathering. Mahant Narhari Nath, Yogi Krishna Nath Maharaj, Mahant Pancham Nath, Mahant Rupnath, Mahant Suraj Nath, and saints of Nath sect from all over the country participated.
