Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Now, the citizens of Madhya Pradesh will be able to pay their electricity bill online through MP Online. The services will start from the last week of January 2025. The payers will no more have to visit the electricity office and can pay the bills online.

The consumers will also be able to apply for new connections. Along with this, facilities like eKYC of non-agricultural consumers, verification of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi beneficiary and load increase in the existing connection, name change will also be available.

Madhya Kshetra Vidyut Vitran Company Senior Publication Officer Manoj Dwivedi told local media that the company has given a gift to the electricity consumers of 16 districts falling under the Bhopal, Narmadapuram, Gwalior and Chambal divisions of its jurisdiction.

The electricity company has started the work of installing smart meters in 16 districts of its jurisdiction including Bhopal.

Contract signed with MP Online

Notably, Madhya Kshetra Vidyut Vitran Company has signed a contract with MP Online to start the facility of paying electricity bills online.

Managing Director Kshitij Singhal, Director of Commerce Sudhir Kumar Srivastava and MP Online’s Chief Operating Officer Prashant Rathi were present while the contract was being signed.
