Madhya Pradesh Cabinet Approves Devi Ahilya Nari Shashaktikaran Mission | FP Photo
Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The cabinet has given in principle approval for implementation of Devi Ahilya Nari Shashaktikaran Mission on Friday. It will be focused on women’s social and economical development. The women empowerment policy is coming close on the heels of Yuva Shakti Mission.
The main aim of Devi Ahilya Nari Shashaktikaran Mission is to ensure education to women and girls and to take care of their health, nutrition, economic development, security and to see how government services shall reach till them. The mission also vouches for behavioural change among females.
One of the major aims of the mission is to increase the sex ratio by 5 point per thousand, to reduce Mother Mortality Rate by 10 point, to lessen crime against women by 5 point, to stop child marriages, to hike participation of women workforce by 3 % etc.
Construction of RoB from Babadia Kalan Square till Ashima Mall
The cabinet sanctioned a whopping sum of Rs 144.18 crore for the construction of Railway over Bridge (RoB) from Babadia Kalan Square till Ashima Mall. It will be 733 metre in length. Apart from this, a 310-metre long approach road will also be constructed. This will ease the traffic pressure in the area.
Rs 25 cr earmarked to start law faculty in Ambedkar University
The cabinet sanctioned Rs 25 crore to start the law faculty in Dr BR Ambedkar Social Science University, Mhow. A decision has also been taken to develop Dr BR Ambedkar Social Science University as Centre of Excellence
Approval for inclusion of Solar Agri Pump
Under the aegis of Pradhan Mantri Krishak Mitra Surya Yojana, a decision was taken by the cabinet to give Solar Agriculture Pump under Mukhyamantri Krishak Mitra Yojana. Henceforth, a grant system of PM Krishak Mitra Surya Yojana will be initiated.
AVGC-XR Policy 2025 to be continued
To promote animation, visual effects, gaming commix and expanded reality sector, the cabinet decided to continue Madhya Pradesh Animation, Visual Effect, Gaming Commix and Expanded Reality (AVGC-XR) Policy 2025. This will help in developing a permanent ecosystem for AVGC-XR Industry. This step will result into enhancing investment in the state and employment. The policy will generate thousands of job employments to youths and will provide extra impetus to the state economy.
