Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is angry with the incident in which the son of legislator Golu Shukla, Rudraksh Shukla, created a ruckus in a temple.
Action may be taken against Shukla’s son because of the anger of the RSS which took feedback on the case.
The RSS expressed its annoyance at the incident in which the priest of a temple was abused and beaten up. BJP’s state unit president VD Sharma hinted at action against the MLA’s son.
A person may be anybody’s son, but it does not give him the right to behave in that way, Sharma said.
An inquiry into the case is underway, and those found guilty will face the music, Sharma said. According to sources, an FIR may be registered against Shukla’s son.
About the incident, an RSS functionary has written on social media: how long the BJP will shield such misdeeds for sticking to power.
If the BJP wants to prove that it is a party with a difference, it should seek the legislator’s resignation, the RSS functionary wrote.
After the case came to light, the Congress too, has begun to criticise the BJP.
The opposition is trying to corner the government by connecting the incident with the insult of a temple and its priest.
