Rajya Sabha MP Madan Rathore has retained the post of BJP Rajasthan president after he was declared elected unopposed on Saturday | X @madanrrathore

Rajya Sabha MP Madan Rathod has now become the elected president of Rajasthan BJP. Although, he was holding this post for the last seven months but now has been elected unanimously as no other nomination was filled against him in the organizational elections held on Saturday. 

His name was announced in the presence of CM Bhajanlal Sharma, former CM Vasundhara Raje and many other leaders at party headquarters in Jaipur. 

Election in-charge and former Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani announced Rathore’s name. Along with the state president, 25 national council members were also elected from the state, who will vote in the election of the national president of the party.

Rathore holds a good chemistry with CM Bhajan Lal Sharma as the party won five out of seven seats in by-elections held last year. Rathore has good relations with former CM Vasundhara Raje as well. Both CM and former CM were among the proposers of Madan Rathore for the post.
