Missile plant will be inaugurated soon
In Sarojninagar area of Lucknow, this high-tech missile-making plant is ready. And the good news is that on the upcoming May 11, the Defense Minister of the country Shri Rajnath Singh is going to inaugurate it. Think, how big is for Lucknow!
After all, what is this BrahMos?
So understand, this is not a minor missile. BrahMos is a dangerous missile that runs even more supersonic (supersonic). You can stain it from a water ship, from the ground or in the air, from anywhere. It is created together with Russia and is enough to blow the enemy’s senses.
Not just missile, Lucknow will become a big base for defense production
With this inauguration, the Lucknow Defense Node (center of the defense sector) and the BrahMos Aerospace Project will also start formal. Also, another company named Airoloy Technology Limited will start its new factory here. Meaning, Lucknow is now going to become a big hub of defense production!
What will be made in this plant?
This plant will not have only missiles. Modern weapons such as new technology drones, anti-drone systems, electronic sensors, and without pilot aircraft (UAV) will also be prepared here. Also, electro-optic systems, small guns, fire-saving equipment and special clothes (defense clogging) for the army will also be made here.
Testing will be done here, quality will increase
It is here that the foundation of a special testing lab of the Ministry of Defense (DTIS – Defense Testing Infrastructure System) will also be laid. With this, the goods made here will be well investigated, so that their quality will be excellent and they will also get a certificate easily.
Thousands of jobs and crores of investment
For this big project, the UP government gave around 80 hectares of land in 2021 for free. And look amazing, in just three and a half years this plant got ready for production! It is estimated that in the next 5-6 years, a huge investment of about Rs 10,000 crore will come in this entire project. And the biggest thing, it will create more than 10,000 jobs, which will directly benefit the youth in Lucknow and nearby.
More companies will open around, export will increase
Not only this, many small and big tributaries will also open around this BrahMos plant, which will be part of the Defense Corridor. This will also give local small industries a chance to move forward. There will also be a common testing center here, where all will be able to check and certify their products. This will increase the chances of exporting defense goods from UP to the world manifold.
