South Korean actress Kim Hye-Yoon, who is currently basking in the success of her K-drama Lovely Runner, is reportedly all set to return to the big screen after three long years with a horror movie. While the actress has not confirmed it yet, her agency admitted that she did receive the pitch for the film.

According to Soompi, Kim is considering getting on board the horror project, which is tentatively titled Salmokji or A Place To Kill. “It is a project for which she received an offer and is currently reviewing,” her agency, Artist Company, said.

The names of other actors who will be a part of the project are yet to be announced. If reports are to be believed, Kim is keen on featuring in the film, but she is yet to sign the dotted lines.

Salmokji is reportedly a horror-thriller set around the eerie happenings near a real-life reservoir.

For those unversed, Kim was last seen on the silver screens in the 2022 film, Ditto. The film also starred Yeo Joo-ha, Bae In-hyuk, Na In-woo, Yeo Jin-goo, and others in key roles.

At present, Kim is gearing up for the release of her next K-drama, Human From Today, in which she will be seen sharing the screen with Lomon. In the show, she will essay the role of a nine-tailed fox woman, who transforms into a human after an unexpected incident, and crosses paths with Lomon’s character.

It is expected to premiere in the second half of 2025.

Kim became an overnight sensation after her 2024 show, Lovely Runner, became one of the most popular shows of the year. In the K-drama, she shared the screen with Byeon Woo-Seok, and their chemistry became the talk of the town.
