Payal Kapadia’s ‘All We Imagine as Light’ failed to win the award in the Best Motion Picture Non-English Language category at the 82nd Golden Globe Awards held at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles, USA. French film ‘Emilia Perez’ received the award in this category. The film ‘Emilia Perez’ also won the award for Best Musical/Comedy Film.
‘The Brutalist’ won the award for Best Drama Film. Adrien Brody won Best Actor Motion Picture-Drama for the same film, while Fernanda Torres won Best Actress Motion Picture-Drama for ‘I’m Still Here’. ‘Hacks’ won the award for Best Musical/Comedy Series. Despite not winning the award, Payal Kapadia remained in the news. She achieved the feat of being the first Indian woman director to be nominated in the history of the Golden Globe Awards.

Hollywood star Demi Moore has won the Best Female Actress in a Comedy/Musical award for ‘The Substance’. After receiving this award, an emotional Demi said, I have been an actress for almost 45 years and this is the first time I have won something as an actress. 30 years ago a producer called me a ‘popcorn actress’.
