San Francisco: The wildfire in Southern California, which has spread to paradise on earth like Hollywood and the nearby city of Los Angeles, is still not extinguished. There are fears that winds coming from the Pacific Ocean, called Santa Anas, will make the storm even wider. Experts believe that this disaster will be the most devastating and costliest natural disaster in America.

This fire has taken the lives of 24 people, thousands of people are leaving their homes. More than 12,000 structures have been destroyed. The fire has spread to an area larger than the city of San Francisco.

Santa Ana winds are fanning the fire, which started Tuesday. President Biden has declared the fire a national disaster. He has also postponed his Europe trip.

There is no clear estimate of how much damage will be caused by this fire. But experts are estimating that the loss is around 135 to 150 billion dollars.

The fires threaten many villages in the Pacific Coast interior and more populous cities such as the city of Atlanta.
