Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Congress has demanded inclusion of names of the former and sitting road transport ministers, along with department officials and their family members in the ongoing Lokayukta raid against ex-RTO constable.
Also referring to the IT searches against builders in the state, the opposition party called for a probe to investigate the links between the builders and retired bureaucrats as well those currently serving.
Deputy leader of opposition in Assembly Hemant Katare while talking to media persons here on Sunday sought details of the Lokayukta raid being carried out against former RTO constable Sourabh Sharma.
The information related to the foreign investment of Sharma in Dubai, other officers, the number of officials or private persons having connection with Sharma in Dubai, their investments should be shared with the Congress members, said Katare.
The aviation ministry should identify the road transport officials who had taken flight to Dubai in the past few years and also ascertain if they had taken permission for visit from the government, said the Congress leader.
He further said that the government should find out about the children of the officers studying in foreign countries. He also demanded to find out the connection between builder Rajesh Sharma and top bureaucrats in IT searches.
