Ballon d’Or winners Lionel Messi and Rodri were among the high-profile attendees at Super Bowl LIX, soaking in the excitement as the reigning NFL champions, the Kansas City Chiefs, faced off against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Messi was spotted arriving at Caesar’s Super Dome, dressed in a stylish cream-colored sweatshirt and matching sweatpants, paired with white and grey Adidas sneakers.

Once inside, Messi reunited with some of his former Barcelona teammates and current Inter Miami stars—Jordi Alba, Luis Suárez, and Sergio Busquets. The group posed for a photo together, smiling as they enjoyed their prime seats with a perfect view of the action.

Philadelphia Eagles deny Kansas City Chief 3 peat

The Philadelphia Eagles got their long-awaited revenge on Sunday night. Two years after suffering a heartbreaking loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LVIII, the Eagles turned the tables with a dominant 40-22 victory to claim the Super Bowl LIX title.

With just under three minutes remaining in the game, the Eagles had already begun celebrating, surprising head coach Nick Sirianni with a Gatorade shower.

Quarterback Jalen Hurts was named the Super Bowl MVP for his outstanding performance. This rematch between the Eagles and Chiefs came after their thrilling showdown two years ago, where Kansas City secured a narrow 38-35 win.

For the Chiefs, this was their third consecutive Super Bowl appearance, having won back-to-back titles in 2023 and 2024. They also secured championships in 1970 and 2020.

This marked the Eagles’ second Super Bowl appearance in three years and their fifth in franchise history. They previously won their first and only Super Bowl title in 2018. Had the Chiefs won, they would have made history as the first team ever to win three straight Super Bowls.
