Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): The weather will remain unchanged on Saturday in more than 40 districts of Madhya Pradesh including Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain-Jabalpur.
The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of thunderstorm, light rain and lightning in these districts.
Earlier on Friday, the weather changed in many districts of the state. Bhopal, Sheopur, Betul, Harda, Anuppur, Shivpuri, Ashoknagar, Morena, Guna, Vidisha, Raisen, Sehore, Khandwa, Chhatarpur, Betul, Ratlam, Dewas, Khargone, Panna, Narsinghpur, Chhindwara, Seoni, Singrauli and Shahdol also witnessed light rain, thunderstorm and lightning.
On the other hand, the day temperature in the entire state remained below 40°C. Talking about big cities, Bhopal recorded 34.2°C, Indore 34°C, Gwalior 37°C, Ujjain 34°C and Jabalpur recorded 37.5°C.
The only hill station Pachmarhi recorded the lowest temperature of 30.6°C. Khajuraho recorded the highest temperature of 39.6°C. In Mandla, Satna, Sidhi and Rewa also the mercury remained at 39°C or more.
That is why the weather changed
The Weatherman said that currently two systems are active, due to this the weather has changed in the state. Till May 13, light rain and thundershowers will continue.
According to the Meteorological Department, the state experiences maximum heat in the month of May.
According to trend of the last 10 years, the mercury has reached 47-48 degrees Celsius in many cities. If there is a heat wave during the day, the nights will also be hot.
