Ratan Tata met a woman in Los Angeles who was working in an architectural firm. During this he fell in love with the woman and made up his mind to marry her. However, fate had something else approved. At the same time, Ratan Tata’s grandmother fell very ill and Ratan Tata had to return to India to see her. Meanwhile, Ratan Tata asked his girlfriend to come together. But the 1962 Indo-China war of 1962. Because of this, his parents did not like the idea and ended the relationship there and then. During this time, till date Ratan Tata has not disclosed the identity of the woman nor has he married anyone else.
Ratan Tata resigns from Tata Group
It is known that Ratan Tata has received the Padma Vibhushan, India’s second highest civilian honour, from the Government of India. Currently, Ratan Tata has resigned as the chief executive of the Tata Group and is contributing to several charitable trusts.
