Mumbai: The incident of suicide by shooting himself by Municipal Commissioner Babasaheb Manohar Laman of Latur city of Marathwada has created a huge stir. His condition is very critical and doctors have said that the next 48 hours are extremely dangerous for him, as the revolver pellet has ripped out his skull and the skull pieces have spread to his brain. The incident took place at his government residence in Latur at 11.15 pm on Saturday night. However, it is not known why Manohar took the final step like suicide.
According to further information received in this regard, 48 -year -old Babasaheb on Saturday night had a dinner and interacted with his family at his government residence on Barshi Road. Then they went to their bedroom. Hearing the sound of bullets from his room at exactly 11:15 pm, his family members ran towards his room. The door was closed from inside. When family members and security personnel broke into the door and saw that he saw that he was lying in a blood -soaked and injured state on the ground and he also had his license revolver. After the incident, his family immediately took him to a nearby private hospital.
In this regard, the doctors of the hospital said that when he took the revolver in his hand and pulled the trigger, the bullet was across his body, causing his skull to burst and the pieces of the skull and its pieces spread to different parts of his brain. Therefore, he told that his condition is very serious and he also clarified that efforts are being made to save him by surgery.
Manohar is known as a clear speaker and strict disciplinary person. He was appointed as Latur Municipal Commissioner in October 2022. The date is still the same. On 27 March, he presented the budget of the Municipal Corporation.
He has done important work by serving in various districts of Marathwada. It is not known why Manohre took the final step like suicide. He was under stress for some time, but his family has shocked his family. He is survived by his wife and two children aged 15 and 17. After receiving information about the incident, the top officials including the District Police Chief and District Collector, Municipal Corporation officials and political activists reached the hospital. After this incident, a police team reached his house, took Panchnama and started further investigation.
