Attention Pune & Pimpri-Chinchwad Residents: Last Day To Pay Tax Tomorrow; Check Area-Wise Contact Numbers To Resolve Queries |
With only two days left in the financial year, the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) and Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) have made special arrangements to facilitate last-minute property tax payments.
In view of the outstanding dues, the Property Tax Department of both PMC and PCMC is keeping all regional tax offices and cash counters operational during the weekend and holidays.
On Sunday, March 30 (Gudi Padwa), and Monday, March 31 (Ramzan Eid), the counters will remain open until midnight and will continue operations until the last citizen in the queue is served.
Citizens are urged to utilize this opportunity to clear their dues before the end of the financial year.
To avoid queues and save time, PCMC has also encouraged citizens to pay property tax from the comfort of their homes. Online payments can be made via the official portal https://publicptaxpcmc.in/ using credit/debit cards, BHIM UPI, post office cards, mobile wallets, and other digital methods.

Even the PMC tax can be paid online through a range of payment methods, including Net Banking, UPI, Google Pay, PhonePe, Bharat QR Code, and credit/debit cards. The PMC has urged property owners to clear their dues by March 31 to avoid a 2% penalty on outstanding amounts.
In the 2024-25 budget, PMC’s Tax Assessment and Collection Department was given a revenue target of ₹2,727 crore. This estimate was based on the inclusion of 34 newly merged villages and the gradual increase in tax rates.
Additionally, the tax offices will remain open till March 31 until 10 PM.
