Omtex ICWC Cricket Institute in Saphale is launching the Omtex ICWC Fast Bowling Foundation. Sri Lankan fast bowling expert Dhammika Prasad has been appointed the Head Coach of the Foundation.

Prasad is pleased to get the opportunity to train aspiring fast bowlers at the Foundation. “I am honoured and proud to be appointed the Head Coach of the Foundation. I look forward to sharing my experience and knowledge with the talented youngsters, the future of Indian cricket,” mentioned Dhammika.

Vijay Patel, Founder, Omtex ICWC pointed out that the Foundation aims to produce good fast bowlers. “The objective of starting this Foundation is to provide youngsters an opportunity to become genuine fast bowlers. Our focus would be on basics, fitness levels, skill levels, mindset, biomechanics and mental stability,” Patel said.

Omtex ICWC will hold a Talent Hunt Scholarship Program (a selection trials) for boys and girls over the age of 15 on March 18 at their facilities at Saphale. Dhammika along with a team of local coaches will select 30-40 trainees who would be offered a Scholarship to train at the Foundation.

The one-day talent hunt process will be held at Omtex ICWC Cricket Institute ground, Tandul Wadi, (E) Saphale from 8.30 am onwards. Additional details can be got from +919321438723.
