The health of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief and former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav has deteriorated. His health has deteriorated due to high blood sugar. As soon as he left Rabri’s residence, his health deteriorated and now he has been admitted to Paras Hospital in Patna. Now he will be brought from Patna to Delhi via air ambulance.

Kidney Transplant in 2022
Significantly, Lalu Yadav had a kidney disease. Only 25 percent of his kidneys were functioning properly. Doctors advised transplantation. Then his daughter Rahini Acharya, who lives in Singapore, donated her a kidney. The transplant was done on 5 December 2022.
In 2022, he fell at the house of his wife Rabri Devi, causing many of his fractures. After this incident, he was treated in a private hospital in Patna. He was later brought from Patna to Delhi and further treated at AIIMS Hospital.
Angioplasty was also done.
Lalu had angioplasty in September last year. Doctors in Mumbai treated Lalu Yadav. Lalu Yadav came to know about the heart problem while serving a sentence in Birsa Munda Central Jail in Ranchi, after which doctors advised him to get treatment from the expert. Lalu Yadav came to know about the heart problem in the year 2021.
