Route Mobile was once again well served by their skipper Prithvi Shaw as they beat Take Sports by 80 runs in the 19th DY Patil T20 Cup at the DY Patil University Ground in Nerul on Wednesday. 

After opting to bat, Sagar Chabria (66: 33b, 7×4, 3×6) added 82 runs for the opening wicket with skipper Shaw (65: 25b, 13×4, 2×6). Towards the end Shams Mulani stroked a quickfire 59 off 34 balls with nine boundaries and a six. Route Mobile ended on 232 for four in their 20 overs. In their response Take Sports was bowled out for 152.

In the other games at the DY Patil Ground in Talegaon, Lalit Yadav’s all-round show (40 & 2-31) helped Income Tax beat DY Patil Blue by 27 runs. For DY Patil Blue, Arjun Tendulkar’s fine spell of 2-23 went in vain.

Earlier in the day at the University Ground in Nerul, Nirlon prevailed over Canara by 16 runs. At the Reliance Ground in Talegaon, CAG thumped Central Railway by nine wickets.
