Tsunami 2025, hosted by the BMS Department of Lala Lajpatrai College, took place over four days from January 3rd to 7th, with over 15,000 attendees. The festival included competitions, performances, and activities, with participation from colleges across the city.
The event began with a PR rally and continued with competitions such as the Mr. & Ms. Tsunami contest, Binge Quest (Monopoly), and a rap battle. The day concluded with a DJ performance.
Day two featured sports and indoor games, including cricket, football, tug of war, and card and board games.
Day three included debate and drama events, such as the Youth Parliament and group drama performances. The day also featured a DJ competition and a performance by actors Surbhi Chandna and Karan Sharma, who promoted their new song.
The final day of the festival included volleyball, dance, poetry, and painting competitions, along with a fashion show and a live band performance. The festival concluded with a closing ceremony, where Thakur College, HR College, and KC College took the top three positions.
Tsunami 2025 was organized by a committee of 114 members, including Presidents Umang Kapoor and Jaspreet Singh, and was supported by college leadership, including Trustee Dr. Sunil Gupta and Principal Prof. Dr. Harmeet Kaur Bhasin.
