Mumbai – Elphinstone Bridge in Mumbai became old. On the 15th, it was to be closed for traffic, but after the decision was postponed, it was as if the orgy of death occurred, a young man, originally passing through this bridge, died due to serious injuries due to a two -wheeler slipping due to a pit while climbing on the bridge. While his cousin was seriously injured.

Jigar Dilip Gala, a native of Lakadia village in Vagad district of Kutch, and his cousin Bhavin Gala, who are members of the Vagad visa Oswal community, were going on a two -wheeler at around 6:30 am today, when the accident happened. He was climbing this bridge to go to Parel, when his two -wheeler slipped due to a pit on the bridge. This caused both brothers to fall down. The uncle of Jigar Gala told ‘Gujarat News’ that Bhavin, who was driving a two -wheeler, was wearing a helmet. Therefore, he survived despite being injured. However, the liver sitting behind suffered serious injuries and died. Bhavin is currently undergoing treatment in the hospital. The 40-year-old Jigar Dilip lived with his parents at Gammon House in Gala Prabhadevi. His younger sister is married. Jigar and her father have a small stationery shop just below the house. The liver was married 12 years ago.

The decision to close the bridge has been postponed and it has been decided to demolish the 125 -year -old Elphinstone bridge. It was earlier announced that this bridge would be completed on 10th. It will be closed on the 10th. The new date of April 15 was later set. However, the traffic police had sought objections from citizens to close the bridge. So far, after receiving 417 objections and suggestions, it has been decided to postpone the decision to close the bridge for a week. Had this bridge been dated, their family and loved ones are regretting that if the pre -scheduled date was closed for road traffic on 10 or 15, then the liver would have been alive today.
