Kunal Kamra gets big relief from High Court, anticipatory bail in ‘traitors’ comment case
Stand-up comedian Kunal Kamra, who was in controversies over alleged derogatory remarks on Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, has got a big relief from the Madras High Court. The High Court on Friday granted him interim anticipatory bail. Kamra, who is a resident of Villupuram district of Tamil Nadu, was expected to be arrested by the Mumbai Police. For this reason, he filed a petition for anticipatory bail in the High Court. The Mumbai Police had already sent summons for questioning to him twice.
