Bookings for KTM’s 390 Adventure and 390 Enduro R have officially opened ahead of their January 2025 launch in India. The 390 Adventure, offering a generational update, is aimed at riders looking for a capable touring bike with off-road potential. Meanwhile, the 390 Enduro R, designed for hardcore off-road enthusiasts, features a motocross-inspired design. Both models were unveiled at the 11th edition of India Bike Week (IBW) and can be booked through KTM’s official website or authorized dealerships across the country.

KTM has showcased the 390 Adventure S at the 11th India Bike Week (IBW), positioned below the base X variant. Designed for serious adventure enthusiasts, the 390 Adventure S features a rally-inspired design and comes with a range of high-end features. These include a TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity, dual-projector LED headlamps, and Dakar-style bodywork. The bike also boasts tubeless wire-spoked wheels, cruise control, and adjustable WP Apex suspension. Riding posture has been improved, and the bike rides on a 21/17-inch wheel combination with Apollo Tramplr dual-purpose tyres, making it suitable for both on-road and off-road riding.

KTM 390 Enduro R is a more off-road-focused variant, designed to be lighter than the 390 Adventure S. It features a dirt bike-inspired design, including a beak-like fender, sleek profile, and off-road block-pattern tyres. The Enduro R is equipped with adjustable suspension units and a slimmer LCD instrument console with a joystick for easier navigation. It also rolls on a 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wheel combination, offering superior off-road performance compared to the 390 Adventure S.

KTM 390 Adventure S and 390 Enduro R both feature the same 399cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine as the third-generation 390 Duke. This engine delivers 45.3bhp at 8,500rpm and 39Nm of peak torque at 6,500rpm, paired with a 6-speed gearbox for efficient power delivery. The Adventure model is expected to come with a larger rear sprocket upon launch for improved off-road performance.
