PCMC Challengers defeated Mumbai XI by seven wickets in their MCL Cricket League match in Solapur.

Chasing Mumbai XI’s target of 79, PCMC Challengers had their share of troubles but eventually managed to romp home by seven wickets reaching 81/3 in 14.2 overs.

In a match filled with drama and mishaps, Mumbai XI collapsed to 78 all-out in 19 overs, undone by six bowlers each claiming a wicket, two chaotic run-outs, and a retired hurt.

Despite their efforts to defend the meager total, they could only manage three wickets as the opposition PCMC Challengers nervously chased down the target.

In the process, PCMC secured their spot in the finals after an easy semifinal win.

Meanwhile, in a nail-biting encounter, the favorites Kolhapur Legends faced a heartbreaking defeat as Solapur Fighters edged past them with a thrilling seven wicket victory. Chasing the target, Solapur Fighters showcased a composed batting performance, sealing the match with seven wickets in hand and booking their spot in the next stage.

In the Baba Bhosale League, Vivek More’s clinical bowling helped Sahara Sports CA beat Malati Patil Cricket Academy by seven wickets.

In a stunning display of collective bowling brilliance, Sahara Sports Cricket Academy played 6 bowlers to skittle out the opposition for a mere 71 runs in a T20 match.

Leading the charge, Vivek More claimed three wickets while Harshvardhan grabbed two. Abhishek, Varad, Prathamesh and Ballal chipped in with a wicket apiece leaving the opposition in complete disarray.
