Ranveer Allahabadia aka BeerBiceps, faced massive backlash over his ‘parents’ sex’ remark on comedian Samay Raina’s YouTube show India’s Got Latent. The comment sparked widespread condemnation from social media users, public figures, and political leaders, leading to multiple police complaints against both Allahabadia and Raina. Amid the controversy, Krushna Abhishek supported Samay, calling him a ‘good human being.’
According to ETimes, Krushna said that Samay is a “very cute” person. He added that the good part about his roasts is that he still respects everyone and is a very good human being.
“He will come on our show and I was going to go for India’s Got Latent but I couldn’t make it earlier as I was unwell. He had invited me. I love his show, it is good. Gaali Galoch, theek hai bhai. He has his different audience, he does it all innocently and people don’t take offence. I want to go on his show, hopefully if it happens, I will be there as a guest,” he added.
Apart from Ranveer, the other panelists included Apoorva Mukhija, popularly known as The Rebel Kid, Ashish Chanchlani, and comedian Jaspreet Singh.
After the backlash, Samay Raina deleted India’s Got Latent episodes from YouTube. Issuing a statement, he wrote, “Everything that is happening has been too much for me to handle. I have removed all Indias Got Latent videos from my channel. My only objective was to make people laugh and have a good time. I will fully cooperate with all agencies to ensure their inquiries are concluded fairly. Thank you.”
