A hospital in Kolkata has taken a big decision in protest against the atrocities on Hindus in Bangladesh. JN Ray of Maniktala said that they will not treat Bangladeshi patients. Hospital official Subhranshu Bhakta said that we have issued instructions that we will not admit any Bangladeshi patient for treatment indefinitely. This hospital of Kolkata has issued this order because of insulting the tricolor. He has appealed to other hospitals in the city to do the same.

Genocide of Hindus is taking place after the coup in Bangladesh. After Sheikh Hasina left power, Hindus are being brutally crushed in Bangladesh. Large scale looting and vandalism is being carried out against the minority Hindu community. Hindu institutions and homes are being targeted. The arrest of ISKCON spokesperson Chinmoy Krishna Das in Bangladesh has further increased the anger in the Hindu community.

India reacted to the arrest of Chinmay Das

The Government of India has expressed a strong reaction to the arrest of Chinmay Das. The Ministry of External Affairs has said that we are concerned about the arrest of Chinmoy Krishna Das. Bangladesh government should ensure the safety of minorities. India is expressing concern over the attacks on minorities, especially Hindus, in Bangladesh. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar told Parliament that India has taken seriously the incidents of violence against minorities in Bangladesh.

He said that it is the primary responsibility of Bangladesh to protect the life and liberty of all citizens, including minorities. Relations between India and Bangladesh have been tense since the departure of Sheikh Hasina’s government and the coming to power of an interim government led by Mohammad Yunus. Congress has expressed concern over the attacks on Hindus in Bangladesh. Congress issued a statement saying that we express deep concern over the environment of insecurity faced by religious minorities in Bangladesh. The arrest of an ISKCON saint is the latest example of this.
