Star batsman Virat Kohli has established a new level of fitness in the Indian cricket team by implementing the Yo-Yo Test.
Stating this, his childhood coach and Dronacharya Award winner Rajkumar Sharma said that the level of fitness of our players was much lower at one time, but today we have become the most fit team in the world because of Kohli. Rajkumar, who came to Ahmedabad to inaugurate the first Hyperberic Oxygen Therapy Center in Gujarat, said that some time ago Kohli was criticized for poor form, but he has won more matches to the team than any other Indian player.
Rajkumar said that for the last few days, Kohli is constantly being dismissed out of the off stump and it was a matter of concern for both of us. However, bowlers should also be credited. Whenever Kohli comes to bat, people expect him to score a century. If he is out around 40 or 50 runs, people start calling him out of form. We have worked hard on the weakness of the off stump.
Referring to the tribal league in South Gujarat, Rajkumar said that there is a lot of craze for cricket among the youth of this region. They are physically strong but they have no special skills. If they are given proper training, they can become good cricketers.
