In a high-stakes IPL 2025 encounter at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi Capitals’ opener KL Rahul showcased his aggressive intent early on, launching two massive sixes off Gujarat Titans’ premier pacer Kagiso Rabada in the sixth over of the innings.

Rahul took charge in the powerplay, capitalizing on the fielding restrictions. On the second ball of the over, he deftly pulled a short delivery over fine leg, sending the ball soaring into the stands. Three balls later, he displayed his class by driving a fuller delivery over long-off, clearing the boundary with ease.

These aggressive strokes not only added crucial runs to the scoreboard but also set the tone for Delhi’s innings, putting pressure on the Gujarat bowlers early in the innings.

Rahul’s form has been a significant asset for the Capitals this season, and his ability to dominate world-class bowlers like Rabada underscores his value at the top of the order.
