Complaint about death threats ignored, says son-in-law

According to Jitendra, the accused had illegally taken possession of the land and sold it to a builder through a middleman Kamal Patel. Babulal had been complaining about the illegal encroachment at the Collectorate since July 2024, but no action was taken.
He was also threatened with death if he did not sell the land. Jitendra further claimed that Babulal had reported the death threats to the Kanadiya police, but no action was taken. Had the police intervened, his murder could have been prevented, he added.
