South Korean actress Kim Sae-ron was all set to make her film comeback with the upcoming film, Guitar Man, but she died by suicide even before the film released in theatres. The makers of Guitar Man, on Monday, dropped the first song from the film, which features the late actress, and it left her fans emotional.

The OST, titled A World Without Pain, features Sae-ron standing strong against all odds, and fans pointed out the uncanny resemblance of the song to the events of her real life before her demise. The song has been written and composed by Lee Sun-Jung, who also co-directed and produced the film, Guitar Man.

The song took the internet by storm and fans commented about how much the actress was missed and appreciated. “Kim Saeron will live forever through her films and series. She was a tremendous actress (sic),” a user wrote under the video, while another said, “Beautiful song and beautiful Kim Sae-ron. She’s free, running in the fields, listening to this beautiful music (sic).”

For those unversed, Kim Sae-ron was found dead in her Seoul flat on February 16, and her family later claimed that she was under immense mental pressure and depression due to her relationship with South Korean superstar Kim Soo Hyun. They alleged that he dated her when she was a minor and that he groomed her, only to leave her when he shot to fame.

Soo Hyun later admitted that he did date Sae-ron for a year, and while he was guilty of not acknowledging their relationship in public, he would not accept the allegations levelled by her family that he pushed her to end her life. He also accused Sae-ron’s family of fabricating false screenshots and tarnishing his image.
