Mumbai: There are allegations that the junior actors of Kiara Advani and Ram Charan’s flop film ‘Game Changer’ have not been paid by the producer.
The film was released in January last year. Made in a budget of about Rs 400 crore, the film earned only Rs 131 crore, causing huge losses to the manufacturers.
It is now alleged that the manufacturers have not paid around 350 junior artists. Each of these artists was promised to give Rs 1,200, but till date he has not received this money. A complaint has also been lodged with the police regarding this matter.
After this news came to light, people are trolling the film’s producers as well as Ram Charan. People are commenting that you have money to spend Rs 75 crore on shooting a song. You also have money to pay for Insta Influencers for promotion, but ordinary artists also have small amounts of royalty.
Some people alleged that such non-professional practices are very common in the South film industry.
