Kiara Advani has reportedly secured a massive paycheck for her upcoming pan-world big-budget film, Toxic, making her one of the highest-paid actresses in the industry.
The actress, who has consistently delivered box office hits and established herself as a leading lady, has seen a rise in her remuneration. According to a report in Pinkvilla, Kiara has charged Rs 15 crore for her role in the film.
Her star power and commercial success have contributed to this staggering fee, placing her among Bollywood’s top-earning female stars.
Earlier, Deepika Padukone held the title of the highest-paid actress, reportedly commanding Rs 23 crore for Kalki 2898 AD. Now, with Toxic, Kiara has further solidified her position in the industry’s top league.
Details about Kiara’s role in Toxic have been kept under wraps by the makers. The film stars South superstar Yash in the lead role. Helmed by Geetu Mohandas, the film is touted to be an action-oriented film set against the backdrop of the drug mafia.
Earlier, actress Kareena Kapoor Khan was also rumoured to be a part of the film. However, an official announcement regarding the film’s cast has not been made yet.
On the personal front, Kiara and her actor-husband Sidharth Malhotra took everyone by surprise on February 28 after they announced that they are all set to welcome their first child together after two years of marriage.
Sharing a picture of their palms holding a tiny knitted socks, they wrote, “The greatest gift of our lives…Coming soon (sic).”
Congratulatory wishes poured in for the couple from all corners, and several celebs showered them with love and blessings.
Sidharth and Kiara tied the knot in a dreamy ceremony in February 2023 after dating for several years. While the two prefer to keep their personal lives lowkey, they make sure to surprise their fans with their occasional PDA on social media.
On the work front, Kiara was last seen in Game Changer with Ram Charan.
She will next be seen in War 2 with Hrithik Roshan. The film is slated to release during Independence Day weekend. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, it also stars Jr NTR. The actress also has Don 3 with Ranveer Singh in the pipeline.
