Pakistan all-rounder Khushdil Shah was held back by a security personnel as he tried to attacked some fans who reportedly didn’t hold back from criticising the tourists for their disappointing performance against New Zealand in the limited-overs leg. A picture of the same surfaced on social media of the same and it has been going viral.
With the visiting side left to chase 265 in a 42-over contest in the third ODI in Mount Maunganui, Babar Azam scored a half-century, peeling off 50 off 58 deliveries but it was not enough as the Men in Green still fell 43 runs short. Ben Sears took sensational figures of 9-0-34-5 to bowl the Men in Green out for 221 in 40 overs.
Meanwhile, below are the photos of Khushdil Shah getting violent during the third ODI:
The defeat ensured a 3-0 ODI series whitewash and a 4-1 result in the preceding T20I leg. Although Sears took five wickets in the third ODI, the Player of the Match award went to Michael Bracewell for his 59.
