The City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO) has announced two new contact numbers for its Kharghar Fire Station, ensuring a smoother response to emergencies after residents faced difficulties reaching the existing number.

Until now, residents in Kharghar have been using the MTNL number 022-27740704 to contact the fire station. However, due to ongoing fiber work by MTNL, the number is no longer operational. Despite this, callers may still hear a ringing tone, leading to confusion and delays in emergency response.

To prevent further inconvenience, CIDCO has provided two new contact numbers: 022-69365700 and 022-69365704. Residents are urged to use these numbers for fire-related emergencies and other firefighting services.

CIDCO has advised the public to update their records and ensure they contact the new numbers when needed. “The move aims to improve emergency response times and eliminate the risk of failed communication during critical situations. With fire safety being a crucial aspect of urban living, CIDCO’s proactive measure will help Kharghar residents receive timely assistance. We also urge residents to spread awareness in their societies about the updated numbers to prevent any confusion in emergencies,” CIDCO spokesperson said.
