Four Indians arrested in Canada in the case related to the murder of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar got bail on Thursday, but they will still remain in custody. But on Thursday, an official clarified the situation and said that Karan Brar, Kamalpreet Singh, Karanpreet Singh and Amandeep Singh, who have been in the custody of Canadian police since last year, will have to remain in custody till the next hearing under the latest detention order.

The four Indians have been charged with serious charges like first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder. They are accused of being involved in the murder of Nijjar, and the next hearing of the case is currently scheduled for February 11, 2025.

Trudeau’s allegations against murder and India

Hardeep Singh Nijjar was murdered on June 18, 2023 in the Surrey area of ​​British Columbia. Three months later, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in the House of Commons made serious allegations against India of masterminding the assassination. He said there were “credible allegations” of possible links between the murder and Indian agents.

India described Trudeau’s allegations as completely baseless and absurd and rejected them. India said that the allegations made in this case have no solid basis and are only politically motivated.
