Significantly, the separatist org.zation Sikh for Justice has announced to org.ze Khalistan Azadi Rally on 8 July. Pro-Khalistan leaders have also released a poster for the promotion of the rally. The poster titled ‘Kill India’ accuses Indian High Commissioner Sanjay Kumar Verma and Consul General of India in Toronto Apoorva Srivastava of killing Khalist. leader Hardeep Singh Nijhar.



The poster of the upcoming rally is being shared on many accounts on Twitter. Significantly, earlier the Indian Consulate in San Francisco was attacked by Khalist.s. British Foreign Secretary James Cleverly tweeted that any direct attack on the Indian High Commission in London is completely unacceptable. We have made it clear to the High Commissioner of India to the UK, Vikram Doraiswami, and the Government of India, that the safety of staff at the High Commission is of paramount importance. Britain’s High Commissioner in India, Alex Ellis, has tweeted citing intelligence that any kind of violence will not be tolerated. Special attention will be paid to the security of Indian officials.
