Khajrana Flyover’s Second Arm Opened For Traffic
Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Traffic started on the second arm of the Khajrana flyover on Saturday evening after it was opened for the public following a puja. The puja was done by Pt Ashok Bhatt, the chief priest of Khajrana Ganesh temple. He called it a good gift and demanded to name it “Ganesh Setu”.
About 1.5 lakh vehicles ply on this road daily. The flyover will provide relief from traffic jams and drivers will be able to travel straight without stopping. On October 14, a programme was organised by IDA at the flyover at Phooti Kothi Square where Chief Minister Mohan Yadav inaugurated four flyovers simultaneously.
At that time while both arms of Phooti Kothi and Bhanwarkuan flyovers were opened for traffic as they were ready, only one arm of Khajrana and Luv Kush Square flyovers were opened as the remaining arm of the two flyovers was not ready. Today, while inaugurating the second arm of the flyover, the IDA skipped any formal inauguration.

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): One arm of Rau Circle flyover was thrown open for movement of vehicular traffic on Saturday afternoon. The second arm of the flyover is also likely to be opened for the vehicles movement soon.

In a function held at the Rau Circle, MP Shankar Lalwani and MLA Madhu Verma along with other public representatives and local citizens opened the movement of vehicles by cutting the ribbon of the one arm of the flyover. On this occasion, MP Lalwani expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Transport and National Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari.
He said that the flyover would not only ease the traffic at Rau Circle but also save time for the passengers. In the programme, MLA Madhu Verma said that this flyover will prove to be a milestone in the development of the area. 1.2 km long flyover built at cost of Rs 43 cr This arm of the flyover has been opened for vehicles coming from Maharashtra to the city.
The 1.2 km long flyover is built at the cost of Rs 43 cr. Soon the other arm of the flyover will also be opened for the movement of the vehicles, which will make the traffic here completely smooth. According to an estimate about 1 lakh vehicles pass from the Rau Bypass circle every day.
