Indore (Madhya Pradesh): After the suspects fled from the hospital leaving Bhawna at Bombay Hospital, the hospital staff informed the police that some people left a young woman, who had received a bullet injury near her eyebrow around 3 am on Friday.
Police immediately reached the hospital and found one Ashu Yadav had dropped the girl at the hospital. They also recovered a key along with the keychain from the hospital. The keychain had the address of the house giving the police a clue of the crime scene.
Three persons including a woman had dropped Bhawna in an injured condition at the hospital stating that she got injured in an accident on the Bypass Road.
No identity card was recovered from the girl so it was a challenge for the police to identify the girl but the keychain helped the police to reach the house from where the identity documents of the girl and her mobile phone were recovered.
Blood stains were found in the house so were liquor bottles so it was believed that the girl was shot dead. A case was registered under the section of attempt to murder and later police added the murder section against unidentified accused.
FIR of Ashu Yadav for dispute at dhaba in Kishanganj recovered In the hospital record, police found the name Ashu Yadav. Later, during the search at the crime scene, an FIR wherein Ashu Yadav was the complainant was also recovered from there. Ashu had lodged a complaint with the Kishanganj police station in connection with an assault at a dhaba there a few days ago. When police gathered information about the rented car, the car owner Jatin informed that he had given the car on rent to Ashu Yadav after entering into an agreement with him. After finding the same names in three places, the police registered a case against Ashu Yadav and his other accomplices in connection with the death of Bhawna Singh at the rented house.
Her friend may reveal clue about accused
Bhawna’s parents passed away a few years ago. She was the only child of her parents and was living alone in Murar in Gwalior. After finding her address, the police started an investigation and managed to contact her friend.
Police said that her friend was reaching the city and may give clue about the accused as it was believed that she was aware of Bhawna’s friends in Indore. Police believed that some of the youths, who had taken the house on rent, were also present during the party.
