The Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes successfully defended his title at Saturday Night’s Main Event against Kevin Owens. While fans chanted his name what happened during the celebration sent shockwaves through the WWE Universe and left the fans with a lot of questions.

Kevin Owens who had fought tooth and nail for the title, wasn’t ready to accept defeat. In an unpredictable moment, he ambushed Cody Rhodes with a brutal move: the banned piledriver.

It was a move that was banned for the sake of safety of wrestlers in WWE. But Owens once again used the move to send a chilling message to both the champion and the world. But Owens wasn’t done. He snatched the Winged Eagle Championship from the mat and raised it high above his head, as though to claim it as his own.

While Rhodes was taken out of arena to hospital in an ambulance, Triple H WWE’s Chief Content Officer, wasn’t about to let Owens get away with it. The Game, confronted Owens and was unlike anything the WWE Universe had witnessed in a long time.

Owens, holding the Winged Eagle high in the air like a prize, shoved past Triple H only for The Game to retaliate, knocking the title out of his hands. The crowd gasped as the two men locked eyes, the tension palpable. This wasn’t just an argument; it was a declaration of war. Referees and security rushed to the scene, but it was clear the damage had already been done. Owens and Triple H were separated.

What’s next for Kevin Owens ?

The heel turn had been completed in the most violent way imaginable. Fans were left to wonder if Owens was on the verge of a full-blown reign of terror, targeting not only Cody Rhodes but perhaps his long-time ally, Randy Orton, whom Owens had already sidelined with a brutal attack earlier in the year.
