Alappuzha: A heartbreaking incident has come to light in Kayamkulam in Alappuzha district of Kerala, where a young man died of a fish stuck in his neck. The deceased has been identified as Adarsh ​​alias Unni (25), a resident of Puthuppalli.

How did this accident happen?

According to the police, at around 4:30 pm on Sunday evening, Adarsh ​​was catching fish with his friends draining water from the paddy field. In a hurry to catch the fish, he pressed one fish in the mouth, so that he could catch another fish. But unfortunately, the fish got stuck in his neck, causing him to faint due to suffocation.

Despite being taken to the hospital, life is not left

Adarsh’s friends immediately took him to a private hospital in Ochi, but the doctors could not save him. Doctors declared him dead. After the incident, the body is kept in the mortuary of Kayamkulam Taluk Hospital.

Police registered a case

After this incident, a case has been registered under Section 194 of the Indian Civil Protection Code (BNSC). Police say this was a completely unfortunate accident, in which no one was at fault, but people need to be cautious with such incidents.
